Obituary Kenneth Curtis Hodges, 83, of Tompkinsville passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at NHC Heathcare in Glasgow.He was born January 27, 1931 in Barren County, KY to the late Orville Hodges and Ella McIntyre Hodges. He was a retired logger and farmer and a member of Mt. Gilead Church of Christ. He was married to Lois Emmert Hodges for over 40 years. He was a US Army Veteran.He is survived by his wife: Lois Emmert Hodges of Tompkinsville, step daughter: Becky Webb of Tompkinsville , one son: Greg Hodges of Scottsville, one daughter: Judy Melton of Bowling Green, one grandchild and 3 great grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter: Vida Jane Hodges.Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 29 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Military rites will be performed at graveside by DAV Chapter 20 of GlasgowVisitation will be after 10:00 AM on Monday until time of service at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
